New-Global Corporation Announces Beta Testing of Global-Line™ 3.0
Latest Version of its Industry Leading Phone Interpreter Platform
NEW YORK, November 3, 2004 / -- New Global Corporation, a leading provider of multilingual communication services and technologies, today announced beta testing of Global-Line™ 3.0, its industry leading platform for phone interpreter services.
Global-Line™ 3.0 is a third generation telephony application that allows callers to be connected with a live professional interpreter (translator) over the phone in seconds. The service is affordable and can be instantly deployed in global corporate call center environments without costly hardware investments or equipment purchases. The service is available simply by connecting with a dedicated DID and PIN.
As a highly scalable telephony platform, Global-Line™ 3.0 is designed to handle even high call volumes with exceptionally low connect time, providing call centers with 80/50 performance levels on a consistent basis.
New automated features in the beta application will further enhance the user experience for call center CSRs and supervisors.
“Global-Line™ 3.0 is a unique platform, in that it provides a fully automated user experience, from initial interface to language selection to interpreter connection,” stated David Burdelski, Chief Technology Officer at New-Global. He added, “The automated response and routing capabilities of Global-Line™ 3.0 dramatically reduce connection times, which are crucially important for call centers. This is just another example of how Global-Line™ continues to lead the industry with superior customer service.”
In addition to more robust automation of the telephony platform, Global-Line™ 3.0 includes a variety of enhanced applications that greatly improve the caller experience. Among these is a voice recognition module, which allows the caller to simply speak the language needed, and Global-Line™ then automatically connects the caller to the appropriate interpreter within just seconds.
With robust voice files and libraries in Global-Line™ 3.0, users have the option of selecting from over 100 different languages, meeting even the rarest of language needs. Today, Global-Line™ interpreters provide translation services over the phone in over 139 different languages. With the launch of Global-Line™ 3.0, these services will become even more accessible to end users.
Other new features include enhanced user security, usage logs, and robust reporting and business analytics, which will help call center managers understand the multilingual demands on their organizations.
“Now, call center managers can extend beyond just serving their multilingual base of customers,” added David Burdelski. “With the business analytics of Global-Line™ 3.0, these same managers can begin to develop a knowledge about their customers, which was previously not possible. By inputting reference data in the Global-Line™ 3.0 application, call center managers can start tracking and analyzing caller data such as subject, caller geography, issue tracking and more. The result is Global-Line™ 3.0 allows companies to further enhance their level of service to multilingual customers.”
Global-Line™ 3.0 is expected to enter production and final launch phase by 4Q04. Existing corporate clients who wish to enroll in the beta testing program should contact New-Global Client Services for additional information.
